Jack Rolfe, president of the School of Life Foundation, addressed the Wade H. McCree Incentive Scholars and their families during a Detroit Public Schools back-to-school meeting. The Incentive Scholars are students in grades 9-12 who are eligible for college tuition scholarships if they maintain grade point averages of 3.0 or better and score a composite of 21 on the American College Test (ACT). The scholarships represent a "Certainty of Opportunity" and increase the options for these Detroit Public School students to attend college, become contributing members of our global society and to develop community interest in supporting others as they move forward.
