The statement is very true about getting organized to be able to control your life. This has always been a challenge for me. I find that the less organized I am the more time I spend on any given task.
I believe this statement. Having fear is an important thing. Fear allows a person to be humble and teachable.
The most worthwhile things in life require the work. With a concentrated effort, and a positive attitude you can move on to focus on what you can do instead of what you “can’t.” Just another way appling the A’s of life can help you to keep moving forward.
My dad used to coach me in basketball. One of his constant reminders to me was that ‘you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take’. I don’t play basketball very often anymore, but I think this advice goes right along with the tip of the week and can be applied to everyday life. Sure, sometimes it’s hard to try something new or to take a shot in a game. But if we don’t take that shot, we’ll never make it, right? Isn’t it worth it to give ourselves a chance and just try? Easier said than done - believe me, I know. But I continue to learn that yes, it is definitely worth it.
The tips of the week are profound statements. I found myself jotting a few of them down and internalizing the rest of them.
Attitude, not circumstance, determine who we are. I would be in a less desirable place in my life,,,if I had not changed my attitude, now it will take a Hugh mountain to stop me.
